Nelson Sacramento is a well-known Portuguese tattoo artist, not only for being specialized in two tattoo styles as distinct as Photo Realism and Neo-Traditional, but also for his numerous awards at Tattoo Conventions around the World.

He was born on March 6, 1986 in Amadora, Lisbon's suburbs. His first contact with the arts was through graffiti, then he studied Arts at the Basic School Seomara da Costa Prima and later at the Professional School António Arroio in Graphic Design. Later, he also made painting works by order and fashion photography and event coverage.

His first contact with Tattoo took place in 2011, when he returned to Amadora and started practicing his art. In 2014 he opened his own studio, Lighthouse Tattoo Studio, a reference studio in Portugal.

In 2015 the artist made his first trip outside his country. This would be the first of many, which allowed him to see much of the world, meet other artists, exchange ideas and techniques, specializing even more in art and participating in conventions. Nelson holds 40 awards both nationally and internationally (USA, Switzerland, England, Portugal, among others).

In Realism, he specialized in a mixture of techniques, between texture and soft shading, known for making themes such as landscapes, animals, planets, female and male faces.

In Neo-Traditional, their registration are fantasy themes through a classic look with a balance of bright colors and neutral tones. Some of the themes include witches, wizards, warriors, jewelery, flowers, etc.

Connected to the world of arts since childhood, Photography, Graphic Design, Painting, were some of the crafts that solidified his career as a tattoo artist. The artist says that all these artistic aspects are present and are essential in the process of creating, tattooing and registering the tattoo, having clients from all over the world traveling to meet him to receive his art. Nowadays it is sponsored by the major tattoo industry brands and is a reference name in Tattoo in Portugal.
